I have successfully installed jvm1.4.2 + patchset 6 and have it running a complex non-GUI application with no problem on a 2xCPU FreeBSD 4.9. What should I expect regarding applications with more than 1 Java thread on a multiprocessor box? Should I expect to see the work spread across CPUs? Andrew Liles.
