I am a self taught hacker type, and my experience with FreeBSD began in the summer of 2001, when I installed -stable on a home PC that I built. After getting my Bachelors in Engineering, with a major in Instrumentation and Control last year, I went on to work full time as a FreeBSD sysadmin, doing in a professional capacity what had essentially been a fun hobby. Over the past few years I have worked with Apache, sendmail/postfix, pop/imap, NFS/SAMBA, NIS, LPD/CUPS, BIND, ISC-DHCP, VPNs and other security related stuff like firewalls. I have also dabbled with Bourne shell scripting, Perl programming, and a bit of LISP. I am looking for a new gig as a junior/intermediate level systems administrator at a small to mid sized firm. I have a strong preference for FreeBSD, but will consider using other operating systems for specific tasks should they be better suited for it.I am quick to learn new technologies should they be required. I am currently based out of southern India, but would be willing to relocate for the right position. My resume is available as the text attachment. Should you require one in postscript/pdf or other formats, please let me know. regards, Varoun P 20 Sep 2004 --------------020300010801000502050001 Content-Type: text/plain; name="resume" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="resume" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Varoun P A25, Parameswaran Vihar, 28 Arcot Road, Saligramam, Chennai, TN, INDIA - 600093.
