As for FreeBSD well, I can tell you that is runs great in qemu and you can even buildworld/buildkernel and that "just works"(tm). Which is pretty damn awesome. These are the first commercially available (well, ish) RISC-V boards wit= h a minimum viable amount of memory for building FreeBSD packages native= ly, albeit slowly.
