I don't know about the previous stuff, but the tag you are looking for is:

RELENG_3_0_0_RELEASE

You can find a list of all [important] tags by looking at:

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-CVS/src/COPYRIGHT,v

(for example, just about any file in that directory will have every
important tag -- that is just one of the smaller files).
