Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Dear Sirs, I am not really understanding, how the cvsup is working. I read the faq written by John Polstra. I use the cvsup-mirror port to mirror FreeBSD CVS collection, but it updates the "sup/*" collections as part of "distrib" cvsup, thus the cvsupd config files updated successively. I want to server OpenBSD CVS repository also with this cvsupd, but I cannot find out how to do it. Please help me. If it cannot be done without "hack", I would choose another option to serve. How can I specify port number of the remote cvsupd server in the supfile? Please help me. By default, cvsupd finds its collection descriptions in "sup/*". But you can change that or add additional directories with the "-c" command line option. If I were you, I'd make an additional directory tree "sup.local/*" to hold the non-FreeBSD collections. Then run cvsupd with "-c sup:sup.local" on the command line. We are the largest private ISP in our country with a 230.000 costumer base. We are mirroring your site www.FreeBSD.org and would like to mirror ftp.FreeBSD.org also. Regarding the www site, I'd like to know what we have to do to get in the "oficial" mirror list and get a name (www4.pt.FreeBSD.org or somesuch) pointing to our machine. Our mirror address is 195.23.13.161 (machine name: dromedario.ip.pt) and the urls we provide are free.ip.pt and free.clix.pt. As for the ftp mirror, I am not sure if you handle this, but if so I'd like to get some info on it, namely: -What is the site's size? -What mirror methods do you offer (do you have rsync)? Please direct any questions regarding this to ftpadmin@ip.pt.
