Webmaster would handle server configuration and actual build environment. (2) Technically speaking, there is no need to have commit bit to update web content. I'd like to get several quotes from companies with name recognition to help pull us forward. I don't need "5.0 is cool," I need "We plan to utilize X in FreeBSD 5.0 to increase our product's effectiveness." I can't promise to use them all, of course, but I'll use as much as I can. Hopefully, I'll have a wide variety of sound bites to choose from. Not necessarily for the press release, but we need it for the website. Plus, when we see people interested in a certain few features in particular, we can interview the guys/gals who wrote it, and push that to the press. > I don't need "5.0 is cool," I need "We plan to utilize X in FreeBSD > 5.0 to increase our product's effectiveness." > > I can't promise to use them all, of course, but I'll use as much as I > can. ACPI support devinfo tool background fscking (background_fsck in rc.conf(5)) growfs - not new, but still cool nsswitch - hosts.conf is dead PAM enhancements, and new modules rpc.lockd - NFS locking We can (and should) hunt the developers of these features down and ask for details..
