The old card (ifpi) has "FRITZCard PCI" on it, the new one has "FRITZCard PCI V2.0". Seems rather obvious. --- Gary Jennejohn / garyj@jennejohn.org gj@freebsd.org gj@denx.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-isdn Mon Oct 14 11:32:32 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B69A237B401 for ; Mon, 14 Oct 2002 11:32:13 -0700 (PDT) Received: from mailx.mediabase-gmbh.de (pD9E95078.dip.t-dialin.net [217.233.80.120]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 28AAD43EB2 for ; Mon, 14 Oct 2002 11:32:08 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from woerner@mediabase-gmbh.de) Received: from gargano.local.mediabase-gmbh.de (gargano.local.mediabase-gmbh.de [195.243.73.160]) by mailx.mediabase-gmbh.de (8.12.2/8.12.2) with ESMTP id g9EIW6tU023105; Mon, 14 Oct 2002 18:32:06 GMT Received: from gargano.local.mediabase-gmbh.de (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by gargano.local.mediabase-gmbh.de (8.12.5/8.12.5) with ESMTP id g9EIW5v2020071; Mon, 14 Oct 2002 18:32:05 GMT Received: (from aw@localhost) by gargano.local.mediabase-gmbh.de (8.12.5/8.12.5/Submit) id g9EIW5m5020070; Mon, 14 Oct 2002 18:32:05 GMT Date: Mon, 14 Oct 2002 18:32:05 GMT From: Arne Woerner Message-Id: <200210141832.g9EIW5m5020070@gargano.local.mediabase-gmbh.de> To: domi@saargate.de, freebsd-isdn@freebsd.org Subject: freebsd 5CUR / can't connect to ppp server Sender: owner-freebsd-isdn@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi! I tried to connect to a ppp server the whole day (linux and freebsd clients) and it did not work... I already read some man pages (spppcontrol, isdnd, isdntrace) and some docs (especially /usr/share/examples/isdn/contrib/i4b-ppp-newbie.txt) and I still do not see what I do wrong. I attached some logs and confs (resulting from a ping 192.168.42.42) and would be glad if someone could give me a cool hint to solve the problem. And I am able to call my phone from the host actionman (ring only). Thank you! I have some news about my problem: 1. I can connect successfully to a big ISP via PPP using CHAP. 2. It looks like there is not a single "input" packet from my real destination (a host in the network of one of our clients) so that I believe now that this host is down or feels sick... Thank you for your time... I will be back again when I do not know what to do. -Arne To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message
