McGovern" Sender: owner-freebsd-qa@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I just installed RC#0. It appears to be as good as some of the DP versions. I haven't done much with it yet, but a couple of minor sysinstall issues that are ugly. 1.) It appears, during install that devfs gets mounted on /dev twice. It doesn't appear to impact anything, its just an oddity. 2.) Doing a Custom install with a custom distribution set, I receive, on the first console: S:21494970 = (ff/ff/ff) E:2988-899 = (ff/ef/ff) S:29880900 = (ff/ff/ff) E:78172289 = (ff/ef/ff) 1S:63 = (0/1/1) E:128519 = (7/fe/3f) S:128520 = (8/0/1) E:120101939 = (ff/fe/ff) Note that these are scattered around on the display behind the front dialog box, so the order they appear, or if this is the entire message, I'm not sure. I'm guessing that there is some output that should be going to the debug console, rather than the install console. I'll report more as I find it. -B To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-qa" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-qa Tue Dec 10 15:15:39 2002 Delivered-To: freebsd-qa@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 3A2D337B401; Tue, 10 Dec 2002 15:15:38 -0800 (PST) Received: from white.imgsrc.co.jp (ns.imgsrc.co.jp [210.226.20.2]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 338B343E4A; Tue, 10 Dec 2002 15:15:37 -0800 (PST) (envelope-from kuriyama@imgsrc.co.jp) Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by white.imgsrc.co.jp (Postfix) with ESMTP id 375A124DD4; Wed, 11 Dec 2002 08:15:36 +0900 (JST) Received: from black.imgsrc.co.jp (black.imgsrc.co.jp [2001:218:422:2::130]) by white.imgsrc.co.jp (Postfix) with ESMTP id 94E0E24DC8; Wed, 11 Dec 2002 08:15:32 +0900 (JST) Received: from black.imgsrc.co.jp (black.imgsrc.co.jp [2001:218:422:2::130]) by black.imgsrc.co.jp (Postfix) with ESMTP id 927331E4814; Wed, 11 Dec 2002 08:15:31 +0900 (JST) Date: Wed, 11 Dec 2002 08:15:31 +0900 Message-ID: <7mvg2179f0.wl@black.imgsrc.co.jp> From: Jun Kuriyama To: "Brian J. Removing there debug stuff will be removed before release. -- Jun Kuriyama // IMG SRC, Inc. // FreeBSD Project To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-qa" in the body of the message
