The purpose of the xorg-upgrade file is to save the output in case the upgrade failed, so that it could then be reported to the maintainers. Synaptics driver unable to open device (EE) PreInit failed for input device "Synaptics Touchpad" The touchpad worked fine on FreeBSD 200710 i386. Does anybody know what to do? Since it seems that I might have removed X from my system (BTW it's FreeBSD 6.2) I can just go in to ports and and find where I'm to get X going.
