My home machine mounts /home off an NFS server (I'm sure a lot of businesses do as well) and I wondered if OO3 has rectified this? In the meantime I save locally and move, but that's a pretty clumsy solution. That being said, I still enjoy using OO, and thank you for your efforts in porting/supporting it. I've hit my head on a couple issues. First I had to update hsqldb to 1.9.0 so that it'd compile against jdk 1.6. Now I can't figure out how to fix the last build failure and was hoping someone might know how to work around it. Any ideas? I decided to try build it with java disabled and it completed. Not sure what functionality I'll loose without java, but it can open MS office files and save to OpenDoc which is probably most of what I'll need. :) I'm running amd64 here and this could be an OO 64bit issue. Found the following bug report that looks very much the same: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=61361 Anyway, I'm happy that it's working without java.
