Unfortunately, I'm mostly out of help... Getting things working with more than one card is tricky at best. Especially from two different vendors. That is probably complicated even more by the fact that one of those cards is an Nvidia, which to the best of my knowledge, uses it's own version of libGL. I've never tried to set something up quite like this, so maybe someone with a bit more free hardware than I can help point the way. robert. > best regards, >=20 > Ot=C3=A1vio Fernandes > http://otaviof.blogspot.com/ > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-x11@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-x11 > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-x11-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" --=-olnw+7g3JWNoPA/y6/G/ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (FreeBSD) iEYEABECAAYFAkkGVZYACgkQM4TrQ4qfRONUtgCfbR1VZu5TDO4nRj1+qy5TBVAT zhYAniv5NuAZpXRsRCa5Gfv3XTJCqtmh =zZqM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-olnw+7g3JWNoPA/y6/G/-- From owner-freebsd-x11@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Oct 28 17:30:36 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-x11@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D51BF106567E for ; Tue, 28 Oct 2008 17:30:36 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from que_deseja@hotmail.com) Received: from blu0-omc3-s22.blu0.hotmail.com (blu0-omc3-s22.blu0.hotmail.com [65.55.116.97]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9D0AD8FC0A for ; Tue, 28 Oct 2008 17:30:36 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from que_deseja@hotmail.com) Received: from BLU126-W10 ([65.55.116.72]) by blu0-omc3-s22.blu0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.3959); Tue, 28 Oct 2008 10:30:36 -0700 Message-ID: X-Originating-IP: [98.192.204.41] From: Desmond Chapman To: Peter Jeremy Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2008 17:30:36 +0000 Importance: Normal In-Reply-To: <20081028090500.GK1137@server.vk2pj.dyndns.org> References: <20081028090500.GK1137@server.vk2pj.dyndns.org> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable MIME-Version: 1.0 X-OriginalArrivalTime: 28 Oct 2008 17:30:36.0106 (UTC) FILETIME=[E33FF2A0:01C93922] Cc: freebsd-x11@freebsd.org Subject: RE: Monitor not recognized X-BeenThere: freebsd-x11@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: X11 on FreeBSD -- maintaining and support List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 28 Oct 2008 17:30:36 -0000 How do I do that? If this is so, there is no way to get shadows working in Emerald. If I revert the situation, i.e. set the link like this manually: libwfb.so -> XXX-libwfb.so.%%.xorg-server-1.4.2,1 then I have shadows with no obvious ill effect. The same is true for driver versions 173 and 177. This is happening with GeForce 8500 GT on FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE #0: Sun Oct 12 15:06:21 CEST 2008 (i386).
