This is consistent with what _PRS returns for these links. It is only _CRS that is using a non-Extended IRQ resource for these link devices. I'm running a semi-stale (~ 3 month) 9-STABLE. It never used to do this. I recently rebooted it with the output non-muted. I discovered that when it hangs, I get a repeating sequence of beeps. I'm not sure whether those beeps are the ACPI code in FreeBSD, or whether it's the BIOS during shutdown, or during startup. No idea. Does anyone have any helpful insights into what beeps mean what these days? :) Adrian From owner-freebsd-acpi@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Apr 30 00:08:24 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-acpi@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.FreeBSD.org [8.8.178.115]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 74AEACBC; Tue, 30 Apr 2013 00:08:24 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from amvandemore@gmail.com) Received: from mail-wg0-x236.google.com (mail-wg0-x236.google.com [IPv6:2a00:1450:400c:c00::236]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B88831F7D; Tue, 30 Apr 2013 00:08:23 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-wg0-f54.google.com with SMTP id y10so4076215wgg.21 for ; Mon, 29 Apr 2013 17:08:22 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=mime-version:x-received:in-reply-to:references:date:message-id :subject:from:to:cc:content-type; bh=BaNKHg32epmkymlRt7Gh9l3d8rfrGF2wGtFKigFriH4=; b=ehZYB4Jni8isRBdClgQySJnDrZSfaGGUYDyGtv4s39Fig4/mgL9DA8j2UVGF25EVy/ FGiQ4bBgoxrwfsFoiRLiLT74mdzitkAdnHcfDHBodT8GxgCY8LKw/FRVhnXqZNJboX13 VyyET0NPrKJ8FprIP0CbWnZRkLd4gWrP1rahGtsjbOFASBfUSJ3ct+DPXJZlWEjdc2/F /4dO3FaBDlCuzHXI9TZeaxDEE4jHW/FmVT7pHsDe7HSgG5DhmViyZ1F7byc1Vmbjp7tj 5XJ2eCcrBRVkcEBHIjbZEyrR4kpyPVIviIkSrT7ZkyWP8jNzZYT5O+R9vmUl9X/SkNKp vnCA== MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Received: by 10.194.92.231 with SMTP id cp7mr13096004wjb.3.1367280502825; Mon, 29 Apr 2013 17:08:22 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.194.163.136 with HTTP; Mon, 29 Apr 2013 17:08:22 -0700 (PDT) In-Reply-To: References: Date: Mon, 29 Apr 2013 19:08:22 -0500 Message-ID: Subject: Re: .. another "it hangs during reboot" data point From: Adam Vande More To: Adrian Chadd Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Cc: freebsd-acpi@freebsd.org, freebsd-mobile@freebsd.org X-BeenThere: freebsd-acpi@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: ACPI and power management development List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 30 Apr 2013 00:08:24 -0000 On Mon, Apr 29, 2013 at 3:11 PM, Adrian Chadd wrote: > Hi, > > My Lenovo T400 is hanging when I reboot.
