Try the attached files instead. Hi Nick, sorry for keeping silence. I was going to try your scripts when I have found another bug... But I suspect that you have made some modifications to nanobsd.sh as well. You check if the variable NANO_LABEL has some value after sourcing /etc/nanobsd.conf, but FreeBSD-standard nanobsd.sh doesn't write NANO_LABEL in the config file. Additionally, there is a problem that after dd'ing the image manually onto the correct partition, you won't have the required disk label on it. See: # glabel status -s ufs/FBSDFLTs3 N/A ada0s3 ufs/FBSDFLTs1a N/A ada0s1a ufsid/52a44002fa6458ff N/A ada0s2a The last entry is automatically generated UFSID label, because the _.disk.image that is generated from NanoBSD build doesn't have any label on it -- it is also logical, because the build system doesn't know which partition you will be upgrading. -- Ilya From owner-freebsd-embedded@FreeBSD.ORG Mon Dec 9 05:34:11 2013 Return-Path: Delivered-To: embedded@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) (using TLSv1 with cipher ADH-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 2B8506DB for ; Mon, 9 Dec 2013 05:34:11 +0000 (UTC) Received: from mail-wi0-x22e.google.com (mail-wi0-x22e.google.com [IPv6:2a00:1450:400c:c05::22e]) (using TLSv1 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-RC4-SHA (128/128 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id B946C14C5 for ; Mon, 9 Dec 2013 05:34:10 +0000 (UTC) Received: by mail-wi0-f174.google.com with SMTP id z2so3230580wiv.1 for ; Sun, 08 Dec 2013 21:34:07 -0800 (PST) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20120113; h=mime-version:in-reply-to:references:from:date:message-id:subject:to :cc:content-type; bh=DFy4dWrQNHFN+nMCGBppIveU+nqCe4IeBc8Aob17O+8=; b=YQ55YMNVsad7HqebRo8TGD5SeX5vQ9Js4EyPGTbIPR/x56f5hJg/cgzDdPITRPgV2n mrVytfgvgky7/zgh2bySdKsjFcgjw3J9ZpfdJyl+6XjlJf/+dh85V/HD6FM0FSLlK1dP Y9poSCyiAYzIykbYO86lR2/za0u7lbzVsC1uN/rBgfZRZK5ftezi6I665fK7n38AqDlQ C04bfX55Y+mWLNTdrSNgCOsVqOezHLjAvwu7NFoQrdpy1WJagTdbZbXMa5AfgglsI5Ad RcCTE+EdkeDd5nHl6e1NoDSA2Sf4m7Mk8TNQ83H1Vwh1/Ln5HpwHrr80GnCiWMfBEkLb D2gg== X-Received: by 10.194.5.138 with SMTP id s10mr95401wjs.91.1386567247915; Sun, 08 Dec 2013 21:34:07 -0800 (PST) MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.227.129.129 with HTTP; Sun, 8 Dec 2013 21:33:37 -0800 (PST) In-Reply-To: <52A3A5EF.7060902@digiware.nl> References: <52A18B79.9090905@digiware.nl> <52A3008F.5050101@digiware.nl> <52A3A5EF.7060902@digiware.nl> From: Jia-Shiun Li Date: Mon, 9 Dec 2013 13:33:37 +0800 Message-ID: Subject: Re: Error building image for TpLinkTLWR1043ND To: Willem Jan Withagen Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Cc: "freebsd-embedded@freebsd.org" X-BeenThere: freebsd-embedded@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.17 Precedence: list List-Id: Dedicated and Embedded Systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 09 Dec 2013 05:34:11 -0000 2013/12/8 Willem Jan Withagen : > Cleaning src.conf and svn up for head, did allow me to complete the > work.
