Most of these functions have a void return type in the function signature, with the result of the call being passed to a uint32_t *status found in the function parameters. The meaning of these status values are documented in the Return Values sections. For those functions whose signatures return an int32_t or uint16_t, no information is listed regarding their meaning. The specific functions that require return value documentation are: 1.) int32_t uuid_compare(const uuid_t *uuid1, const uuid_t *uuid2, uint32_t *status); 2.) int32_t uuid_equal(const uuid_t *uuid1, const uuid_t *uuid2, uint32_t *status); 3.) uint16_t uuid_hash(const uuid_t *uuid, uint32_t *status); 4.) int32_t uuid_is_nil(const uuid_t *uuid, uint32_t *status); This information can also be viewed online at https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=uuid -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. I recently learned that there are nearly 40 million Americans with an average of around $30,000 in student debt . Can you imagine carrying around a financial burden of that magnitude after graduation? Bearing this in mind, my team and I decided to put together a list of some unique scholarships that many students may not realize they are eligible for. Would you consider sharing these resources with your audience? I believe your visitors will find this information valuable in every sense of the word (perhaps if included here: http://blin.net.ua//fr/gallery/npgallery.html)! All of the scholarships on this list run through the end of the year or are ongoing. Then I wondered why I have seen both /home and /usr/home on FreeBSD systems and took a look into `hier(7)' The only $HOME mentioned in the manpage is /root, no /home or /usr/home. The most useful information I found is a mailinglist thread discussing the difference [1]. >From what I've understood /home is/was used as a mount point when there's a separate partition for the users' home directories. When there's no such partition it's symlink to /usr/home assuming /usr has it's own partition thus the users' home directories won't clutter the root filesystem. I'm not 100% sure that's correct. A recent 10.2 installation on ZFS created a separate filesystem for the home directories but it's mounted under /usr/home and /home is a symlink pointing there. PS: Affects only those people who actually read `hier(7)' ;) [0] https://github.com/saltstack-formulas/users-formula/pull/100#issuecomment-156350893 [1] http://freebsd.1045724.n5.nabble.com/usr-home-vs-home-td5012063.html -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
