A normal build did not trigger it, I tested it on my machine. I've looked for the problematic "kernelconfig-noboot" ID from the error message you posted. Apparently, that anchor tag was causing problems, which wblock@ fixed here: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/doc?view=revision&revision=44373 We have not caught up with translation work to that revision and therefore, probably due to the latest changes to that chapter a couple of days ago, the error was triggered (or it has been there for a while and no one noticed until you sent us the log). I've committed a fix a few moments ago by basically applying the changes from r44373. These sorts of errors are difficult to find when the local builds don't show them. These kinds of errors are one reason not to translate from the bottom of the SVN history up until (eventually) hitting the HEAD revision one day. Instead, the new PO system would always translate the HEAD rev, but requires much more work when dealing with huge files and when there are no preexisting PO strings available to fill in. Since it's a rather large document its taking a lot of time, though I hope to have it completed soon-ish (more or less next week if I maintain my current pace). The problem is that, in the meantime, a couple of changes were made to the handbook and I have to catch up with to those changes. In the past I ve dealt with this by recreating the .PO file and just copy/pasting the translated sentences. This worked because the documents in question were as not huge as the FAQ, but doing this approach now seems kind of impractical. Is there any automated method to update the .PO file while keeping the sentences I've translated intact? The PO system is meant to do that automatically. When you use 'make po' and a PO file already exists, the new changes are merged with the existing PO file. A PO editor will normally show the new strings to be translated at the top. If that is not working, please describe the process you use so we can try to debug it. Thanks! Please postpone all non-essential changes until after the doc tree is tagged (currently scheduled for 6 February, 2016). Please note that the slush does not apply to /htdocs documents. While this is not a real freeze, if you need to commit a relatively large change to fix or improve our documentation for 10.3-RELEASE, please put a note for translators onto your commit log. --=20 Marc on behalf of doceng@ --k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iD8DBQFWo6Q+zQ9RwE+OdOgRAgOdAJ47JVBWu9dD5lrsnTBIpaq0LnBr8ACg3fJu ttF0vhrO5YN0P9nTAIWC85M= =apE/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --k1lZvvs/B4yU6o8G-- From owner-freebsd-doc@freebsd.org Sat Jan 23 18:55:43 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-doc@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DFBFDA8E01C for ; Sat, 23 Jan 2016 18:55:43 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from kenobi.freebsd.org (kenobi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::16:76]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id D0C481C17 for ; Sat, 23 Jan 2016 18:55:43 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) Received: from bugs.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.118]) by kenobi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id u0NIthVf098365 for ; Sat, 23 Jan 2016 18:55:43 GMT (envelope-from bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org) From: bugzilla-noreply@freebsd.org To: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Subject: [Bug 206535] Possible errata in section "5.7.3. Xfce" Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: pablo@pablobm.com I believe the handbook is wrong in section 5.7.3, where it instructs reader= s to use the command `exec /usr/local/bin/startxfce4` in the file `~/.xsession`. That command doesn't work for me, whereas `exec /usr/local/bin/xfce4-sessio= n` does. I believe that would be the correct command to use. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
