Not so far. Good to know that cross-building is not part of the required = context. I've yet to find a place that might be involved that mixes awk use with = an expression generating a file path that could generate /sys/param.h as the path. If this was happening in my prior -r352341 context, I did not notice it. = I jumped from there to -r355027 . So I can not effectively narrow the range for = when it started based on my activity. =3D=3D=3D Mark Millard marklmi at yahoo.com ( dsl-only.net went away in early 2018-Mar) From owner-freebsd-ports@freebsd.org Mon Nov 25 08:21:47 2019 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-ports@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 11A351CC665 for ; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:47 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (unknown [127.0.1.3]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 47M0PQ6q5Pz480l for ; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) id EA0741CC660; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 +0000 (UTC) Delivered-To: ports@mailman.nyi.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:1]) by mailman.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id E9CDF1CC65F for ; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::19:3]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits) client-digest SHA256) (Client CN "mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org", Issuer "Let's Encrypt Authority X3" (verified OK)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 47M0PQ5wKyz480g for ; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from portscout.nyi.freebsd.org (portscout.nyi.freebsd.org [IPv6:2610:1c1:1:606c::50:21]) (using TLSv1.3 with cipher TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (256/256 bits) server-signature RSA-PSS (4096 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mxrelay.nyi.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id AE82C9DAD for ; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: from portscout.nyi.freebsd.org ([127.0.1.10]) by portscout.nyi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2) with ESMTP id xAP8LkFE085332 for ; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 GMT (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Received: (from portscout@localhost) by portscout.nyi.freebsd.org (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id xAP8LkOn085300; Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 GMT (envelope-from portscout@FreeBSD.org) Message-Id: <201911250821.xAP8LkOn085300@portscout.nyi.freebsd.org> X-Authentication-Warning: portscout.nyi.freebsd.org: portscout set sender to portscout@FreeBSD.org using -f Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Content-Type: text/plain MIME-Version: 1.0 Date: Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:46 +0000 From: portscout@FreeBSD.org To: ports@freebsd.org Subject: FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date X-Mailer: portscout/0.8.1 X-BeenThere: freebsd-ports@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.29 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting software to FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 25 Nov 2019 08:21:47 -0000 Dear port maintainer, The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your ports appears to be out of date. It looks like the PYTHON_CMAKE_ARGS option doesn't work anymore either. However using this works: PYTHON_CMAKE_ON=    -Denable-python=ON -Denable-python-bindings=ON I am rather perplex since this isn't the way its supposed to work(?). I reported the issue upstream and while the author uses FreeBSD 12, he doesn't have issues building with python support. Is there a way to see the command line the port is sending to build the port? Anyone know what is going on? Thanks in advance, Pedro. I've recently installed net/samba410 in a 11.3/amd64 jail (like I've done several times before(. Unlike all other cases, in this particular instance smbd is crashing often, but won't dump any core file. In the logs I find: > [2019/11/22 12:34:37.366207, 0] ../../source3/lib/dumpcore.c:310(dump_core) > unable to change to %N.core > refusing to dump core So I tried "sysctl kern.corefile=/root/%N_%P.pid". Now I see: > [2019/11/29 12:54:14.946952, 0] ../../source3/lib/dumpcore.c:315(dump_core) > dumping core in /root Still there's no core in jail's /root, nor base's /root! I remember having examined Samba cores in the past... What should I do to be able to get them again? bye & Thanks av.
