You didn't upgrade your system properly.
Read either:

(1)  In /usr/src/Makefile, the section labelled:
# For individuals wanting to upgrade their sources (even if only a
# delta of a few days):

or

(2) In /usr/src/UPDATING, read the "To build a kernel" section.
