How would people feel about my setting up something where people are expected to add a note whenever they commit something which creates a back incompatability so that we have something to scan before a make world? I would envisage it being located in the handbook with a table such as: DATE OF CHANGE | TOOLS AFFECTED | HOW TO TEST FOR INCOMPAT | FIX where fix would typically be a ref to appropriate part of man page Comments?
