I am trying to backup a FreeBSD 2.1.7 box to a BSDi 2.2.1 box with the following command on the FreeBSD box: rdump 0fBu 194.127.175.216:/dev/nrst0 1000000 / as output I get: DUMP: Date of this level 0 dump: Fri Apr 25 16:16:59 1997 DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch DUMP: Dumping /dev/rwd0a (/) to /dev/nrst0 on host 194.127.175.216 DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files] DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories] DUMP: estimated 20013 tape blocks on 0.02 tape(s). DUMP: Protocol to remote tape server botched. DUMP: (rmtgets got "Warning: exported path contai"). rdump: Lost connection to remote host. DUMP: Bad return code from dump: 1 Anyone any ideas?
