I had a high amount of HD activity, so I wanted to see who was on my machine. I tried using the "who" command and received no information (not even for myself). I have found that various methods of signing in cause different behavior, presumably due to being assigned different terminal names. For instance: If I open an Xterm, or telnet into the machine, I will not see any information (Although a who -q does), however, if I SSH or sign in on the console, I get the results I was expecting.
