I have a trouble with ZIP drive using in my configuration: atapci0: port 0xd800-0xd80f at device 4.1 on pci0 ata0: at 0x1f0 irq14 on atapci0 .... atapici1: [39714/16/63] at ata2-master UDMA100 ad1: 9773MB [19857/16/63] at ata3-master UDMA66 acd0: CDROM at ata0-master using PIO3 afd0: 96MB [96/64/32] at ata0-slave using PIO0 MotherBoard ASUS P3B. As you can see CDROM and ZIP connected to onboard controller and two hard drivers connected to PCI CMD649. All warks fine in Win2k, but in FreeBSD 4.3-RELEASE when i try to mount ZIP i got: # mount -f msdos /dev/afd0s4 /zip afd0s1: slice starts beyong end of the disk: rejecting it afd0s2: slice starts beyong end of the disk: rejecting it afd0s3: slice starts beyong end of the disk: rejecting it afd0s4: slice starts beyong end of the disk: rejecting it msdos: /dev/afd0s4: Invalid argument When i move CDROM/ZIP on second chanel of CMD controller istead of second HD all warks fine! It may be fixed? ---- Sem. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
