I had googled for a while, but couldn't find anything relevent...guess I didn't google hard enough (or think of reading FreeBSD docs). Thanks for pointing it out, I don't think it's a gdm.conf problem (since it's not an upgrade), but the OpenPAM one sounds likely. I'll give it a shot, and let you know if it works or not!
