It take from 1 to 5 time before my ppp dial correctly and login
correctly.
I think the Bell line are noisy. You should edit your ppp.conf and add a
redial process. Try it, and if it dont work, dial manually
Something like
ppp
term
atz
atd 7654321 (the phone numbers)
Read the man page.
