Hi Larry,

I believe that someone encountered (and fixed!) a similar problem last 
year:

It seems that this is becoming an issue on new notebooks: I know that my 
new ASUS notebook has the same problem (but, unfortunately, Mauro's fix 
doesn't apply to my machine).
