Any reason to > not set it by default? > The difference that the knob makes is that when set it fetches version 7.4.x of the port (for which the distfiles got moved or deleted), and when not set it fetches version 7.6.x of the port (which works just fine). WITHOUT_NOUVEAU, when not set, is used to build the x11-drivers/xf86-video-nouveau port.
