It isn't a ppp I'm familiar with:

$ cd /usr/src/usr.sbin
$ fgrep -i question *ppp*/*.[ch] 

comes up with nothing.


> engulf[5]:~# ppp
> Working in interactive mode
> ...
> ...
> ... (Long Wait)
> ...
> ...

Try running

$ nslookup `hostname`

It'll have the same ``Long Wait''.  See
