Hi gang,

I've been looking for some stuff for my reasearch project and found
these two impressing packages:

A Matrix Template Library:
	http://lsc.nd.edu/research/mtl/

A FEM package in with the same input as ABAQUS (TM):
	http://www.calculix.de/

If no one beats me to it, I'll probably work on porting them to
FreeBSD during the summer (no time or spare box yet :( ).

Also, someone brave with clisp should port Maxima:
	http://www.ma.utexas.edu/users/wfs/maxima.html
