You need to phrase your problem better.  If you are saying that
the outside world can access services on this machine then the
new server can obviously see the outside world too (otherwise
the outside wouldn't get any response).

What's your definition of "can't see" ?

Start with netstat -r and netstat -i for information on the network
configuration.  Beyond that the available tools depend on what
"can't see" means.
