Due to unable to access the ATAPI EIDE CD-ROM from FreeBSD, I copied the FreeBSD CD-ROM (from Walnut Creek) onto MSDOS partition (drive D:) using MSDOS xcopy command. When I mount the wd1s1 (drive D:) and issue ls -l /mnt/packages/all to see the list of directory, I saw the index file (lower case), but when I tried to install the mstools_3.0 packages by issuing the command, such as: /stand/sysinstall and chose the configure (Do post-install configuration of FreeBSD) and followed with packages and media option, I got the ERROR message, such as: Unable to get packages/INDEX (INDEX in upper case). I copied the index file to MYINDEX -- using cp command and deleted index re-copied back MYINDEX to INDEX, but the file name index still remains in lower case. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks, Sas Widjaja SysX@worldnet.att.net
