Does the one in 4.1-R give the right broadcast address?  The dhclient in
-current is giving me the "all 0s" address instead of "all 1s" (see my
message to -current), and although I can't test it easily, it looks like
it's the same in -stable, and hence in 4.1-R. :-(

This is unless I've misconfigured something, of course, which isn't at
all unlikely.
