Message-Id: <199903312312.PAA04954@itchy.serv.net> To: questions@freebsd.org Subject: 3.1 and /kernel.config Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I upgraded a system to 3.1 and my /kernel.config file doesn't work any more. Aparrently, 3.1 doesn't use USERCONFIG_BOOT any more, but the kernel is optioned for USERCONFIG and VISUAL_USERCONFIG. My config file looks like USERCONFIG pnp 1 0 os enable ..... quit This works fine when executed manually, but not from the startup environment. Any hints? Sean T.
