I am able to use the mysql client to create databases and import data without a problem. When I try to use MyODBC (2.50 or 3.51) on a Windows 98 or Windows XP workstation I receive "[MySQL][MyODBC 3.51 Driver] Lost connection to MySQL server during query" on the workstation and mysqld (started with /usr/local/bin/safe_mysqld --user=3Dmysql) appears to restart (I receive a "mysqld restarted" = message in the .err file in the database directory). Can anyone point me to a possible solution? Many thanks ______________________________________________________ Antony Russell Technical Director Clarotech Consulting (Pty) Ltd EMail: TonyR@Clarotech.co.za Phone: 021.671.5350 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
