Well you do have a backup of your current system, right? (right?) That's the first step in any upgrade. Then no matter what happens you can always go back if you're not happy. >Other than that, i want to try it so bad i can taste it. ;-) If you have another disk or at least another disk partition, you can install a new version before you nuke the old one.
