So yes but it likely won't be that bad to upgrade to 5.2 at that point.. The roadmaps currently are thinking the 5-stable branch won't start till August or Sept. You'll get all the new goodies from 5.x But if you've already got everything you need in 4.x, then you may want to stay there. 5.x is also currently slower. Usually the best practice is to test it out on a non important machine on the side. That way you can learn the new features and see if it suits your needs.
