Some of the providers of cable have switched to USB only modems to exclude anyone that runs anything else. It's all ridiculous as 'support' for configuration of linux/BSD etc. would be simpler than memorizing all the myriad Win settings in the end. The CA branch of @home seems to view an altOS user as a threat of some sort so it seems. Tres bizarre. "Jonathan E.
