Yes, I did check out wt as well as Doom on Lites+FreeBSD.
"wt" in my opinion was too slow hence the need for a fresh new
start...

I am hoping to spark enough interest. I am sure that there are a couple
of 3D graphic hackers  out there willing to tackle the job.
