A little bit off-topic for freebsd-ports, but the original poster
might be interested in Dan J. Bernstein's dnsfilter utility.
It is part of the djbdns package (http://cr.yp.to/djbdns.html),
and is described at http://cr.yp.to/djbdns/dnsfilter.html.

dnsfilter reads a list of IP addresses from stdin and tries to look
them all up - it should be trivial to write a tool to generate random
IP addresses in a given range.

G'luck,
Peter
