 You should be able to get off a FreeBSD mailing list by
sending e-mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org.  Put "unsubscribe <listname"
(no quotes) in the body of the message.

 You mentioned "which" didn't have any matches for you.  It seems
that, to protect from Spammers simply gleaning mailing addresses,
which has been modified... 

 So - if you know which mailing list you're on (you should be able
to read the headers to find out), you can unsubscribe.
