	I am familiar with American-style pizza (both Chicago and New=20
York types ;-), and the musical term "mezzo" as applied to "piano"=20
and "fort=E9" to indicate the volume level at which a particular=20
section should be played.

	To my ear, these two uses of the doubled "z" sound exactly the same.


	I am also familiar with the meteorological term "meso" as in=20
"mesocyclone", and of course this does have a rather different sound.
