My boxes are backed up with NetBackup; Veritas has a
FreeBSD client that works, more or less.  To be fair, the software is
pretty good, it's just that our sometimes network lethargy puts the client
to sleep before it finishes some directories.

There is a linux client that allows a graphical interface to the
backup/restore utilities --xbp , I think it's called.  Only the CLI is
available for FBSD.
