Correct me if I am mistaken, but originally I was trying to cvsup to STABLE (see below)
I only tried current to see if it would get rid of my error!

t20# more /etc/stable

*default host=cvsup13.freebsd.org
*default base=/usr
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_4
*default delete use-rel-suffix
src-all
