Hmm. Is this a follow on to your post "ppp" on 21/12? I'd guess that
there's a syntax error
in the ``set dial'' line (which in the ppp.conf in your original post is
#'d out). Have a close look where the ``TIMEOUT 5'' is, it appears to be
expecting the peer to send ``5''.
