Actually I meant were you running appletalk on the FreeBSD machine :)
but it appears not.
I have seen this message, but don't how it get's to happen
It's not fatal so I'd ignore it.. the system is printing it so that
we get questions like this which reminds people like me
to go look at that code every now and then :)

it's not impossible that ARP might have something to do with it, but 
I wouldn't say that it is definite.
The whole routing code needs a cleanup. (Actually my boss has told me that
it is on his list of things he thinks I should do so that may actually
happen :)
