1. FreeBSD: No integrated GUI. Faster, More secure (kerberos). Free.
   NT: Integrated GUI. Slow (in some cases) unstable (in some cases).
Expensive.
2. I dunno. Pick for your self.
3. 100% Free.
4. Yes, src/sys/
5. Probably not. I (An 11 year old) learned it in a few weeks.
6. I think only i386 (386 thru PII) and Alpha, not sure though.
7. Heck ya! 
8. If you wanted to. Check out XWindows.
9. I dunno. I'm trying to learn ANSI C myself. gcc and cc are compilers.
10. People who network use FreeBSD. Also probably crazy 11 year olds, ppl
who want a challenge, people who hate Micro$oft... A popular program?
