Not trying to derail this thread, or anything=2E But my initial search on
this chip indicated:

In the article it is indicated that (among other drivers):
FreeBSD 7=2Ex and 8=2E0 Updated to version 1=2E95
were updated=2E I only mention this=2E In case them already providing drivers
might be of help in this (your) work=2E :-)
