I had this problem sometime back. After some trouble shooting, I noticed
that I hadn't done the post-install configuration during the installation
and just rebooted the machine (as soon as the installation was over). I went
back and did this post install configuration and everything worked
perfectly. Don't know the exact 'cause though.
