>Description:

I have problems boot my PC after installing FreeBSD-2.2-ALPHA.
FreeBSD-2.2-961014-SNAP worked fine (though it took several minutes to boot).

I am puzzled about how the boot disk for 2.2-ALPHA could work and install
the software (from ppp on sl0), but booting from HD is not possible.

Below a screen dump of the boot process (as much as I could catch)
- it should tell what hardware I have. The CD-ROM that it never find is a
TEAC SCSI CD-ROM 56S.
