Reading from NT4 smb share works somewhat and doesn't cause panic, writing is totally broken. I'll get to it tomorrow after collecting data you requested about acpi related hang. Haven't reported the smbfs problem because of workarounds and lost hope it'll be fixed anytime soon ('cause bp@ is so busy).
