I have this problem. At work we use a combination of AS/400 and HP/UX systems which I access every day. Using the tn5250 program from ports I am able to connect to the AS/400 from FreeBSD. However, many of the programs on the HP system are hard coded to communicate only with Wyse terminals. Windows users are able to connect to the HP's with Procomm Plus which does Wyse emulation. However, I am unable to find a Wyse 60 emulator for FreeBSD. Most things on the HP work fine using xterm for my term type, but a few of the crucial programs do not work. Since everyone else can use Windows to connect just fine, it is unlikely that any programming changes will be made which will allow a different term type. Is there a Wyse 60 emulator for FreeBSD?
