Gentlemen

Autor will buy IBM x20 or Portege 3480CT
with P3-600 1.35 volt 495 BGA and will
1.Install Solaris or Free BSD ,which support
Irda,Bluetoth,802.11b an mouse .
 2.Exchange p3-600 1.35 volt LV vs. p3-600
1.1 volt ulv with possible freq. down
until fixed 100-300 mhz in economy
regime , with speed only some 10 megaflops DP
Linpack and power demand some 1-2 wt (display
   need some 4 wt)

What is better to buy in this case IBM x20 or
Portege 3480CT ? What is better to install
Solaris,Free BSD or another UNIX non-pop(No Linux
please) derivative ?

Excuse me,if my request is not relevant.
